42 I am looking for a supplier ( or used ) for old fashioned bells for my ice cream trucks. Can anybody help me with an email address or phone number ? I am in Connecticut in the USA. Imelmed@aol.com

I presume you are talking about hand bells? These are usually found in antiques shops in the UK! You can search the net for hand bells - there are several makers in the UK who supply for campanology enthusiasts

44 Submit: Send Details a_Question: Does anyone have information as to who makes left hand drive ice cream vans - Europe / US / Japan / other ? Understandably, UK suppliers tend only to deal in right hand drive vehicles. Are there associations overseas whom we can contact ? Or must we supply a left hand drive van for unique conversion into an ice cream van, which is what we're being told (no doubt because the conversion company wants to earn money from doing the conversion). THanks for the help. b_Emailaddress: john.short@oba.co.uk See the section on 'Van Builders' on this site- Cummfy Banana, Whitby Engineering. Also visit the 'Links' page and click 'AllScream' link for USA Ice Cream portal site. Contact Whitby Engineering of Crewe. They import vans from the USA and re-export them. Local USA firm is David Cummins USA Inc. Do a world search on 'Google' for Ice Cream Trucks as they are known in the USA. Plenty of constructors & builders web sites and info out there in the USA
