67 I was hoping to ask if anyone remembers the colours of the El Dorado vans and what chime, if any, they used. Also, a long time ago, I asked question number one on your site about the Lyons Maid chime and a IS of Norfolk replied saying that they played a tune called 'Buy it from the Lyons Maid Van'. Is it possible you could put me in touch with IS? The reason is that I have spoken to Harvin chimes and to Steve Tillyer ( I'm sure you know him) and this is at odds with what most people say i.e that Lyons had no corporate chime and that people used whatever they wanted (many used the Westminster Chime). James.Robinson@oaklands.ac.uk The Eldorado delivery van (when it was part of Lyons maid) was cream/white with orange stripes. The logo on the side was a large polar bear with an orange and white twisted candy stick. We held the Lyons Maid franchise for Cambridgeshire and there was no corporate chime. We often used Harvins 'boys and girls come out to play' as it seemed to fit with the company logo of the three dancing children. Emailaddress: krr99@aber.ac.uk
