83 .Hello there, This is probably a somewhat unusual request, but I'm hoping someone may be able to help. I'm currently writing a short film script about a bored teenager who makes a getaway in a stolen ice cream van, is forced to serve children on route and discovers his true vocation! So that the script is authentic, it would be really helpful if I could take a look inside a working van and ask a few questions about how it operates. I wondered if there were any mobilers in the North London area (I live in Kentish Town) who might be prepared to show me around their van for an hour in the near future? If so, please could you email me at clare_mottershead@hotmail.com Many thanks. Emailaddress: clare_mottershead@hotmail.com

.We have bought a van with a Maria ice cream machine. We were told it worked, but of course it doesnt!Dont think we will have much joy from the guy we bought it from,as he only sold it on & never used the van.Does anyone know of any engineers who would be able to help us get it working?Or of the contacts for Maria-does the company still trade?I have googled it,but had no luck.Help!!!Frustrated from High Wycombe! b_Emailaddress: widgey101@yahoo.co.uk

.Hi Try Dan O'Neil at Kadian Coldelite or Kendricks both in Crewe, Cheshire. (they designed and built the Maria machines originally I think) They may advertise in the ICA magazine ?? Unfortunately they both chose not to continue subscribing to www.mobiler.co.uk That is why they do not appear on the website and why there are no contact details for them - pity !! You could perhaps mention this if you contact them ?? Regards Chris @ Micro Miniatures Webmaster www.mobiler.co.uk

94 .a_Question: can anybody tell me how this site works i can not get suppliers names on
b_Emailaddress: bigdaftdog@aol.co.uk

Thank you for asking this question - it gives us chance to explain the current situation.
Since its inception in 2000 as a non-profit making information portal for all things Mobiling we have allowed Ice Cream related Suppliers to advertise free of charge on www.mobiler.co.uk.
Over the years our costs in maintaining the site have increased considerably.
In 2005 we asked all Supplier Businesses then advertising to contribute towards this maintenance cost by paying a small annual advertising fee.
In all but a few loyal cases the Ice Cream Supplier Business Community decided not to advertise with us.
Consequently we have had no alternative but to remove these businesses from the site to be fair to those that have paid a fee and remained with us..
Bona fide Mobilers can continue to advertise their ice cream business free of charge (as it has always been) - this still remains a site for mobilers.
If you have a favourite Supplier who you think should be advertising on the site please contact them !!
